Google Input Tools for Windows allows us to type text in any of the supported languages using a Latin (English / QWERTY) keyboard. After installation of the this tool i am able to type Hindi in most of editor tools such as Notepad, wordpad, MS Word even i can type in Hindi in my visual studio editor.
Currently Google Input Tools is available fro 22 languages including Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Russian, Sanskrit, Tamil, Urdu etc. You can download Google Input Tools for Windows with your language.
After installation when the Tools is enabled for an application, you can see the small status window at the bottom-right corner of the desktop, but can be dragged to any other part of the screen as well.
When user start type, the tool displays a window with the typed text and the corresponding word choices in the input language. User can select his choice using the BOTTOM-ARROW or TAB keys to move down the selection, or the UP-ARROW or SHIFT + TAB keys to move up. After selection, use the ENTER key to inserts the active choice at the current cursor position.
