Search text in browsers

 
Following are the method for searching text in browsers:
 
Windows computers:
Firefox: press Control + F or go to ‘Edit’ menu and click on ‘Find’.
Internet Explorer: press Control + F or go to ‘Edit’ menu and click on ‘Find on this page’.
Google Chrome: press Control + F or go to ‘Edit’ menu and click on ‘Find on this page’.
 
Apple computers: Press the command + F key.
Android tablets: In a browser window, touch the menu button in the top right of the screen, then select “find on page.”
Safari on iPad tablets: click the cursor in the search box in the upper right corner of the screen.
 
‘Search for text when I start typing’ in Mozilla Firefox
You can search text in Firefox browser without pressing ctrl+F. Searching can be start just after typing keys, The following are the steps to enable ‘Search for text when I start typing’ option in Firefox.
1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
2. Select on the Advanced panel.
3. Click on the General tab.
4. Check ‘Search for text when I start typing’ option.
5. Click OK to close the Options window .
